I joined LHMC in 1976, after finishing junior residency at Willingdon hospital now called Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.
I came to the US around 1982 and finished residency and fellowship in Anesthesiology.
Currently I am a Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Care and Pain Medicine at NYU Langone, NY.
As I am trained in Cardiac anesthesia and currently interested in advanced Airway Management in and education of difficult airway management in patients for ENT and oral surgery. Other interests include anesthesia management of patients of cardiac disease for non-cardiac surgery and perioperative Medicine. I am involved in running Difficult Airway rotation for senior residents at NYU Langone and Bellevue Hospital.
My hobbies include reading, philosphy, poetry reading and really enjoy all NYC has to offer with theatre, ballet, jazz and restaurants
